Global Solutions Political Action Committee (PAC) is the political action committee of Citizens for Global Solutions.  Global Solutions PAC raises funds for federal candidates who share our values, are engaged in competitive races, champion CGS’s policy goals on the Hill, and who lead important committees in Congress.  Global Solutions PAC is not affiliated with any political party and only accepts contributions from Citizens for Global Solutions members.

The 2010 campaign season has begun in earnest, and Global Solutions PAC has kicked off its endorsement and contribution process for the year.  So far, we have endorsed both incumbents and challengers who share CGS’s priorities and dedication to international issues and multilateral cooperation.

Citizens for Global Solutions' 2010 Congressional Candidate Questionnaire is a valuable tool for learning what positions Congressional candidates take on issues ranging from international health and climate change to peacekeeping, prosecuting acts of heinous violence, and creating a UN Emergency Peace Service (UNEPS) that would rapidly respond to man-made and natural disaster. It is also a tool to educate candidates, including incumbents, on global issues. If a candidate in your area hasn't sent us a candidate questionnaire yet, you can direct them to www.globalsolutions.org/pac or download a PDF copy it and send it to him or her as a constituent. Asking candidates to respond to Citizens for Global Solutions' 2010 Candidate Questionnaire is an important action. It informs them about important global issues that you care about, and when they respond you will know where they stand.
